BSDF is proudly supported by the Core Matrix Foundation - another organisation that detests the two-faced attitude of CoS and companies such as Microsoft.

If you're looking for high quality independent information about CoS, Microsoft, or related organisations, this is the place to come!

Be Anti-Microsoft and Boycott Micro$oft!

- Join the Boycott Micro$oft campaign if you're sick of the lack of competition in the information systems industries, especially the software industry. We've had enough of companies that believe they have a mandate to take over, monopolise and control as much of the IS industry as they can, and ultimately control and manipulate the way we lives our lives... Join the Boycott Micro$oft campaign and support competition, free markets and innovation.

- Don't be Soft on Micro$oft!. Bill Gates is the modern-day equivalent of a Robber Baron, well on his way to creating a Microsoft monopoly. Microsoft's operating system and software are installed in a majority of the personal computers on the market today, and because Microsoft controls the standards and architecture that control the design of software, the company continues to capture market share.

When necessary, Microsoft buys up its competitors. Consumers are increasingly dependent on computers and the Internet for both business and personal communications. A Microsoft monopoly threatens to end innovation and leave consumers without competitive choices. Join NetAction's Consumer Choice Campaign today!

Debunking the 'Church' of Scientology

and Other Pseudo-Religious Organisations!

- One well-known critic of Scientology is Jeff Jacobsen, who has put an immense effort into Exposing Scientology for the great Myth that it really is.

- Another critic of Scientology is Arnaldo Lerma, who's reference page on Scientology, Dianetics and L. Ron Hubbard adds a lot of interesting material to the issue.

- Frank Copeland's Not The Scientology Home Page is one of the major Australian sites dedicated to de-bunking the 'doctrines' of CoS

- Another excellent Australian site containing vast resources of anti-CoS information is the Australian Critics of Scientology Resource Collection which is maintained by David Gerard. If you can't access the site using the link above, try an alternative Australian mirror or the European mirror.

Operation Clambake - Operation Clambake is a website set up in respect and honour of all the victims of CoS, and those who dare to stand up to defend them. Help in the fight against the Church of Scientology on the Net.

- If you're sick and tired of the way that the Church of Scientology tries to suppress anything critical of it's operations, go and visit Scientology Lies to find out the truth about how keen CoS is to silence it's critics!

ScientologyWatch.org :: News from Teegeeack

- ScientologyWatch.org is a site created by some outspoken critics of Scientology, and the news stories chosen to appear on the site, along with editorial commentary, reflects that.

The site is open to everyone to join, and anyone is welcome to take part on the running of site by submitting interesting news articles relating to Scientology which the Church of Scientology itself would never publish for fear of damaging it's level of control over it's followers.

- A really interesting and in-depth site to explore is The Truth About Sscientology. While aimed more at existing Scientologists, the site is a storehouse of information about the technology of Scientology and deals with many outpoints that commonly create concerns amongst CoS believers.

Basically it's something you can use to get a feel for Scientology geek-speak, and as a reference for issues raised on the more mainstream anti-scientology sites.

- On 26 Apr 2001, Anti-CoS activist Keith Henson was convicted of "interfering with a religion", a misdemeanor under California law, for picketing outside Scientology's heavily-armed, razor-wire enclosed base outside Hemet, CA.

At trial, the judge threw out all Henson's witnesses, disallowed any testimony about his reasons for picketing the cult, and allowed the prosecution to present excerpts from Henson's Internet postings out of context; the Scientology witnesses also committed perjury which Henson was unable to rebut.

Henson is seeking political refugee status in Canada in order to force the US government to look into the criminal conspiracy between the Hemet District Attorney's office and the Scientology cult to deprive him of his civil rights.

- " Hi, my name is Tom Cruise. I belong to a cult called Scientology. I have OT7 super powers. I can fly around and move stuff with my mind. It is my quest and life goal to promote this evil cult to young children who look up to me and don't know any better. I am trying to ruin as many lives as possible. My god L. Ron Hubbard would only expect that of his zombie followers like myself..."

Check out the world of the TomKat (also here) to read more and continue the quest to destroy and expose the cult of the Scientology zealots for trying to become the earthly equivalent of the Borg from the TV sci-fi series 'Star-Trek'

- Something a bit on the unusual side is The Compleat Aberree. 'The Aberree' was a 'zine, or newletter, published from 1954 through to 1965. The editor, Alphia Hart, and the publisher, Agnes Hart, put out ten issues a year!

The Aberree started out as "the non-serious voice of Scientology" and ultimately encompassed all kinds of spiritual and self-help interests, from psychic phenomena and UFOs to improving eyesight.

The Aberree shows that convention and uniformity weren't the whole story of the 50s, by a long shot. It also shows that Scientology, which has grown famous for its attempts to silence dissent and criticism, was trying to squelch debate 50 years ago... with similarly ineffective tactics. 8-)
